TDS Recon - is robust but leightweight device developed for fieldworking. It is waterproof, dustproof and can work in -30 up to 60°C.So it is ideal for making orienteering maps in any possible conditions (as you can see on picture). GPS Holux - is small GPS modul worn in pocket in cap. Bluetooth connection with PDA (no antennas and wires). Positioning is good enough in most of terrains. Some negative influences can be in hilly areas (deep valleys) or during hard snowing - defraction of GPS signal. more about
